Spot Removal Guns and Systems
KREBS produces very fast and economic spot removal systems with integrated strong exhaust extractor, compressed air drying device and multi-function handle. The systems are based on the use of two different basic cleaning liquids: on the one hand KREBS Cleaner 580 (synthetic hydrocarbon, CFC-free), on the other hand hot soap water (CV-Concentrate to be thinned with water).

The textile industry has solved its problem with spots for many years also in Europe (and still does nowadays in other countries) by the use of high pressure handheld airless spray guns and chlorinated hydrocarbons. This method was convenient, simple and fast on one hand, but on the other hand harmful to health and environment. Now, since the nineties, the use of fast evaporating, chlorinated solvents is forbidden for „open application“ in all European countries. This confronted the textile industry with the problem of how to achieve an effective spot removal under these altered circumstances. The main problem with all alternative solvents is namely their very poor evaporation properties. Instant drying of the treated fabric is absolutely essential to avoid spotting marks.
KREBS has faced up to this challenge very early already. The goal we set ourselves was to create alternative hardware for alternative solvents complying with all the existing legal restrictions and still do effective stain removal without ringing; and this within a minimum of time. This goal has been fully achieved.
Currently we offer various stain removal systems with integrated drying and exhaust devices for various applications as well as different drying and exhaust devices as accessories to our spot cleaning guns. When developing these various alternative systems, we are working very closely with the chemical industry as well as the Institute of Hohenstein in Germany.
