1945 Foundation of the Theo KREBS Corporation in
Oberbuchsitten/Switzerland by Theo KREBS
1949 For his first time Theo KREBS saw an electrical spray gun on
an exhibition in the USA
1950 Theo KREBS and his friend Josef WAGNER built their first
paint spray gun named “Whisker” together
1957 Theo KREBS and Josef WAGNER had different opinions in
case of allocation of profits so they separated; now on Theo
KREBS builds spray guns in Kreuzlingen/Switzerland and
Josef WAGNER in Friedrichshafen/Germany
1961 Introduction of spot removal guns for the textile industry
1974 Incorporation of the company after the death of the founder
Theo KREBS, now named „Theo KREBS AG“
1979 Foundation of KREBS Inc. in the USA
1981 Opening of the newly built manufacturer and stockkeeping
facility in the industrial area "Sonnenwiesen" in Kreuzlingen;
1988 The Theo KREBS AG is acquired by the Leuenberger brothers
1989 Introduction of alternative water-based spot removal systems
1998 Introduction of food spray guns
1999 The WAGNER-Group located in Markdorf, Germany takes over
the Theo KREBS AG
2007 Theo Krebs AG was aquired by Thomas Christiansen and all
activities merged in one location - Sulgen / Switzerland
